Yeah if he REALLY wants to go to LA. the better option for him is probably the Clips. Less attention to him there too since the new duo of Kawhi and PG

There's a zero percent chance the Lakers sign him.

Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta was fined $25,000 for his comments about the Russell Westbrook trade before it became official. Fertitta issued comments on the trade between the Rockets and Thunder, which sent Chris Paul, two first round picks and the opportunity to swap two other firsts in the opposite direction. But the comments were made before the deal was made official by the league office, which is a no-no.

According to Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has been fined $50,000 for leaking information from the league's Board of Governors meeting. According to the report, Kings owner Vivek Ranadive expressed concern over the fact that details surrounding the league's decision to allow coaches' challenges were being leaked during the meeting. Cuban admitted that he was the one leaking the information, which led to the NBA handing down the fine. It's a violation of league rules to discuss Board of Governors meetings with outsiders.

He'd be the 4th string center for the Lakers behind AD, Boogie, and McGee. He's not playing over any of those guys. If he signs with the Clippers he'll have a legit chance to be their starting center to enter the year.

Stephen Curry replied "hell naw" when asked if he anticipates receiving random rest throughout the 2019-20 season due to load management. The Warriors will be without Klay Thompson for a majority of the 2019-20 season, and they don't have great depth at the guard spots, so they might not have the luxury to give Curry a lot of rest as they compete for a playoff spot next year. Curry is getting up there in age at 31, but his silky-smooth game should hold off Father Time longer than most and he could very realistically come home with his third MVP trophy this upcoming season. Markelle Fultz (shoulder) still doesn't have an official timetable for his return, but he's making "great progress," according to head coach Steve Clifford. "He's working hard, he's made great progress," said Clifford. "You know, right now we don't have a timetable for when he'll be back, but he's really doing a great job." Clifford added that he would have liked to have seen Fultz play at Summer League, but he's still not quite ready, which is fairly concerning given he hasn't taken the court since November and has only made it through a total of 33 games since being drafted in 2017. Reggie Bullock has officially signed his two-year deal with the Knicks. Bullock initially agreed to a two-year, $21 million deal with the Knicks, but after an unanticipated health issue was discovered during his physical, the Knicks and Bullock re-worked the deal on a more team-friendly salary. He reportedly signed for less than the $4.7 million exception and his contract has a player option on Year-2, but we still don't know exactly what ailment he's dealing with. Shams Charania

Talks between Miami and Oklahoma City regarding Chris Paul have reportedly hit a standstill due to the Heat's desire to get their own picks back from the Thunder in any proposed deal. OKC currently owns two of Miami's future first-round picks (an unprotected pick in 2021 and a protected pick in 2023), and if the Heat are going to take on the 34-year-old CP3 for another three years at his massive salary, they want to at least get their picks back as compensation. The Thunder would be willing to include at least one of those picks, but they'd still want a future pick further down the road as compensation, which is something the Heat don't want to do.  NBC Sports

I still think Paul gets moved, just won't be Miami from the looks of it.

We'll see. OKC is going to have to give in and send some assets with Paul to make a deal happen. They knew the deal when they traded for him.
