Don't kid yourselves... Even if he can punt as well, something tells me they wouldn't expose him to that.

Not saying we need someone starting caliber, that was someone else's perspective I was giving one possible explanation for, but I *would* like someone I could feel comfortable having a bit more confidence in. As it stands I feel depth is little better than shaky at best. Pretty sure most teams feel the same way though. That’s all I’m saying. jleisher
What about looking at Fackrell at ILB, or have they already?
Leader
Ryan Wood: Asked Gutekunst how he evaluates tackling, obviously important part of defense, given realities of CBA. Says it's based on past history, but also progression through preseason. Opener often sloppy: "If those issues stay the same in Game 2, 3 and 4, maybe it's more of a problem." Most teams don't have a guy they feel comfortable with for a 3 game stretch? I'd reckon it's more than you think. Maybe ~8 teams by my guess. Leader
Tom Silverstein: Rookie RB Dexter Williams came out after a play and was down on one knee for a while. He’s still on the field.

If he's getting it mentally this early thats a good sign.

packfanfb
^^^^^ Man we need that out of Jimmy this year. Realllly need him to be a legit 2-3 option in this offense.
PACKRULE
Yeah some good TE play would be welcomed especially if it's over the middle. AR has not used the entire field much in the last couple years. Hopefully he decides throwing to those open TE's is still a thing in games. Chili
I know it's not Packers relevant....but....3 hours! at 39°C! A stark contrast to LaFleur's short practices. Its usually about 1.5 hours sometimes 2 hours but usually no longer.
