only if he has a reasonably competent OL. Remember what happened to David Carr and Patrick Ramsey. Kids with a nice arms and similar or better mobility to Haskins mobility, but playing as rookies behind a crap OL's ruined their development

71 sacks in 29 games as a very young QB and anyone is looking over their shoulder and hearing footsteps

I don't have a problem with giving Haskins work near the end of the season, but it should be mop up duty with running plays that gets him experience  under center and or quick throws to backs and wr's. He is very inexpereicned- only one season starting behind a dominant OL with dominant Wr's compared to their NCAA competition. He doesn't have that here this year. Why take your prized young bull and risk getting him slaughtered before hes developed? There is no hurry as we are all used to our normal suckfest of 5-11 to 8-8 annually and we wont ever win with Dumbo coaching anyway.

You're disagreeing with Doc Walker? Unbelievable

funny a few years ago we had one of the best receiving cores in the league with reed, Djax, garcon, and crowder and now we are the worst in the league. GOOD JOB REDSKINS!!!

They spent a couple years trying to plug holes elsewhere, while the receiving corps was at their peak, and still focused on other positions as the decline started in talent level.

The team needs at least a few more years drafting BPA, and it would be beneficial to have 9-10 draft picks each year.  You look at the teams who consistently win year in and year out, and they have a talent pipeline established by drafting and development.

once we get alex off the books we can fill 3-4 holes

Hopefully we don't need sign a lot of players when we cut Alex bc by then our young players will have proven they are good starters and next draft hopefully we find a few more.

I don't agree, they did draft Doctson in round 1 in 2016 and the year before in 2015 drafted Crowder.

We had drafted talent in the pipeline everywhere at every position. At WR we've done it with Quinn, McLaurin, Harmon, Sims as an UDFA and maybe Robert Davis too. Maybe next year we’ll have to draft another WR early but we may not if our young WRs play well this year.

We also drafted and developed Crowder but felt we could replace him with Quinn and not have to give Crowder a huge contract, that remains to be seen.

This is what I keep saying to the “trade Trent Williams” crowd.
