The other issue for Conner and Snell is it means the first step is sideways instead of downhill. So it's harder to square up their shoulders. And when you run the RPO concepts from the shotgun, the OL has a tougher time blocking because they have to retreat block while trying to open holes. They need to get downhill, let these guys get a push, and run downhill. O don't care if that's from the pistol formation. Get N-S right now. Mason will have some rough series, but the play calling needs to get better and more 1st year starter friendly.
