Leader
Yordan Alvarez, likely the AL Rookie of the Year, now 1 for 19 in the ALCS.

bigbadbuff
Like the Yankees chances in a bullpen game tomorrow. Doubt Hinch throws Cole on 3 days rest with the lead, would be stupid.
CAS22
Tremendous performance from JV tonight aside from one AB. Was 0-2 on Hicks, couldn't locate the fastball, and then threw a flat slider. Other than that, he was awesome (LeMahieu short-porched his HR, Gleyber's double was some fluky batted ball stuff which seems to be a theme this series). I love the Astros chances to close it out tomorrow night. Pulp House is going to be rockin and the bats will be out of the cold.

The short porch is further right. Where that ball went out is typical for most stadiums

Spartica4Real
That game sucked entertainment wise, 1 inning of action and then nothing. And you can't really call it an intense pitcher's duel because it was 4-1 the whole time. Still, great recovery from JV to not burn our BP before a BP game. Shame the offense couldn't get it going for him. Feel confident going into game 6, but VERY confident in a potential game 7 if we don't get it done.

Astros goes to 373. That went over the left edge of the WB Mason sign which isn't the short porch. When you hear people refer to that is when it goes down the foul pole and barely gets over at 314. Kmart128
How come everytime we get to the ALCS we just swing at everything. We get away from who we are offensively.... Instead of working the count and making pitchers work we just swing at the first pitch every single at bat this series.
