Well, his foot is a problem right now so coming into the season, he probably isn't consistently in the rotation until he's fully healthy.

Like the Bender signing. I mean there is a good chance he just sucks and is nothing and is gone but you add a guy like him he’s 21 and a top 4 pick and played for maybe the worst run franchise the last few years. No real downside.

Yep. Plus year one is only partially guaranteed and year two is fully non-guaranteed. No real risk whatsoever.
