To be blunt, regardless of absolutely hitting on Chubb 2 picks later, Ward and Baker in the first (don't look quite as awesome as it did in January of this year, but it's still great probably), this is unacceptable. Everyone on this forum knew that there were 2 OL better than him on the board. It's one thing to draft an "ok" player and have a bust that way, but having an absolute whiff with essentially a 1st round pick can't happen when you're rebuilding an 0-16 roster. Anything you say would probably be saying something negative about a player who doesn't wear orange and brown and that would be in bad taste. All they could really fess up to is saying that he wasn't at his best at the position they expected him to play when he was drafted and as such became expendable.
