But yeah I'm sure the reason the B1G isn't allowing stand ins is because they won't get their full media revenue payout for it for some reason, and they can't say that this has been a cash grab out loud. Sucks that the kids taking all the risk to play get screwed out of another game when the nonconference schedule already went up in smoke though, for sure. I personally think he'll be better due to the fact that he was a take for Michigan and a potential take for Ohio State and Davis was neither. This is as close to shooting the moon in a recruiting class as I can remember. We didn't get every guy at the top of the offer lists we sent out, but we got virtually every single Plan A guy that we prioritized. We're going to end up averaging a 4* as a class, and turning away a 4* player at the end of the cycle. Probably time to extend Chryst again. We may need to jack that buyout up.
