There's a clear divide between the top of college football and the next level. Instability is not what you want in a program (see: Michigan for the most of the damn decade), and firing a guy who is very good because one of the elites is in the same division is not going to attract a high level coach. At what point do you say enough is enough though? He's looking like he's not getting the program over the hump and will keep them at "above average" with high recruits coming in year after year. If everyone is ok with this, fine, as an OSU fan, I'll accept that. It just doesn't make sense to me.
