- Jaguars would be near the top of my list for most desirable tbh. They have a ton of draft picks coming up due to the Ramsey trade and any coach can easily build the team in his own image.

As long as the whole FO is let go we should be I'd say. This whole NFLPA is worrisome and may be a black eye for a short period worst case, but I would think Coughlin getting canned clears up most since it's obviously him.

4 1sts in the next two years. Potential QB long term in place, although TBD. Edge rushers already checked off the box of need with Ngakoue and Allen. Owner that lets people who run football operations do their thing and has a longer than normal leash. No state income tax/great weather

It's not at the top but I'd expect them to be able to get one of their top options.

Oh yeah? Proof? Because this feels like a stat you pulled directly out of your arse with absolutely 0 facts to back it up.

Define "relevant". And when you do, remember that:

A. The league is built so that each team goes decades in between Superbowls

B. Any coach worth a damn thinks it will have the answers to get to a superbowl.

True.

I don't think you understand, we are talking about the DALLAS COWBOYS here. 1995, ever heard of it? SB champs that year. Best facilities in the league, which has evidently created a huge advantage as it draws FAs and allows for superior practice that translate to Ws. Owner willing to spend up to $200M next year on salaries. Elite QB, elite OL, decent back who is elite at accumulating touches, elite LBs, etc. 5 SBs. This is the #1 job hands down. Guys would coach for free there if it was allowed.

selected the most all-pros in the NFL over the last 5 years

Dallas gets more awards than any other franchise because of their popularity.  This means nothing to me.

has us sitting on $100m in cap space next year with only a few key guys to lock up.

Over the cap says $87 mil.  One of your players wants $40 mil of that.

Oh yeah, and its the DALLAS FREAKING COWBOYS

Which means high expectations and not a great roster.

Lame retort. Do better. Who brought up 1995? how about, Dallas was ranked the #1 most valuable sports franchise in the world. This year.

Well, I mean we do get most any FA we want and we have won a fair amount of regular season games the last ~5 years

Again, more dumb responses.

This is completely false. Prove your lie. You wont be able too.

Thats a bit nitpicky, especially before any cuts are made.

Another lie. Why dont you attempt honesty?

If a coach is afraid of high expectations then he is a pansy and I hope we dont hire him.

What is "not a great roster"? Because all over this forum/the internet everyone mocks us for having a top tier talented team and bottom tier record.

Whats your point? Of the "10 available teams" literally 1 of them won a ring this century. This seems like you just throwing out a dig that has no thought process behind it.

Please clarify?

What needs to be clarified? Do you not understand how the NFL works? Everyone is capped on how much they can spend to create parity. The worst teams get first dibs on the best college players and released NFL players. In a perfect world, each franchise would win the superbowl once every 32 years.

Then why are there several teams that continue to win the Super Bowl?

Those people are stupid.  Dallas is losing because they aren't very talented.

You are going to have to give me a scale or comparison or something before I concede this point. I agree that we are not as talented as the world makes us out to be; at the same time, I do think we are still upper echelon.

Are you really asking this question as if you dont know the answer?

Because no matter how much the NFL tries to create complete parity, things like:

Incredible coach/QB combos

Hot streaks

Injuries

Bad/great games

Refs

Momentum

etc

are all still real things. So there is no such thing as true 100% parity. But the league attempts to get as close as humanly possible

No, I'm implying there are well run teams and poorly run teams.  You root for one of the poorly run teams.  So do I.

Nah. Cowboys arent poorly run. We arent the Patriots. But then again, no one else is the Pats. The Reskins are trash. The Cowboys have been fairly competitive for over a decade, even though we have lacked playoff success. At absolute worst, we have been a middle of the pack team.
