THE DUKE
Rather than post a new thread for each mock draft, i'm just going to accumulate them in here and do a new one every couple of weeks. Round 1 is easy peasy, Joe Burrow is the pick. Once I get to rd 2, there are a lot of good options on the board: Tyler Biadasz, OL, Wisc Jonathan Taylor, RB, Wisc Kenneth Murray, LB, Okla Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU Yeury Gross-Matos, DE, PSU Trey Adams, OT, Wash Tough decision. I'm in the extend Mixon camp, so that makes Taylor superfluous, plus the Bengals don't need to be replacing good young players, and aren't hurting for cap room. I think Gross-Matos is a potential 10+ sack guy, but the Bengals are pretty strong at DE currently and tend to scout this position well in the mid rounds. I'd take Biadasz over Adams, so that narrows my choices down to Biasasz, Murray, or Jefferson. Tough call, but in the end I'm going with Murray, although i'm afraid he'll be a mid 1st prospect post combine. In rd 3 both Travis Etienne and JK Dobbins are still on the board, but i'm ignoring those as I don't see that as realistic. 5 of the 6 BPA are RB, so this particular simulation seems a bit flawed. Mekhi Becton is ranked 86 here, so he's likely my pick, but I doubt he lasts that long either, but for today, this far away from the draft, it's a no brainer for me. Then again, looking through other positions, pickings seem a little slim for 65, so maybe Becton is the traditional "guy that is falling" in this mock. In rd 4, no one is jumping out at me of the BPA, as I cycle through some needs, I see Donovan Peoples-Jones there. He had crap at QB all 3 years in Michigan, here is an upside bet from the former 5 star. Rd 5 I see Cam Akers still available, but that's just not realistic imo, so i'll pass there. Unless he goes and runs a 4.6 or something at the combine, he's a day 2 guy. If I want to double dip at WR, Denzel Mims from Baylor still available. OL is starting to look pretty thin, maybe Ben Cleveland, the G from Georgia. In the end I think I go with CB Jeff Gladney from TCU. One of the few big 12 CB who showed out this year, and provides some solid depth with upside to compete for the backup spots in the DB room. Rd 6 i'm thinking special teams with Fejedelem possibly gone, and I like S Myles Dorn from North Carolina Rd 7 i'm just going BPA, and although I doubt he falls this far, I see Davon Hamilton on the board as an ideal guy to groom behind Geno. Joe Burrow, QB, LSU Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma Mekhi Becton, OL, Louisville Donovan Peoples-Jones, WR, Michigan Jeff Gladney, CB, TCU Myles Dorn, S, North Carolina Davon Hamilton, DT, Ohio State Edited February 3, 2020 by THE DUKE

fluhartz
Both look pretty good. I like the first one better, that top four would seem like it would be great. I agree on Peoples-Jones, he has been really good for ttun with garbage QB play.

DPJ went in the 2nd rd of the latest mock I did. I like to do these over time to see how the perceived draft value changes.

Johnny Nix
I traded down a bunch a picked up some extra picks. I think the Bengals end up doing the same and getting more picks.

sparky151
I tried one and got this: 1: R1P1 QB JOE BURROW LSU 33: R2P1 OT MEKHI BECTON LOUISVILLE 65: R3P1 WR JALEN REAGOR TCU 104: R4P1 LB AKEEM DAVIS-GAITHER APPALACHIAN STATE 147: R5P1 RB AJ DILLON BOSTON COLLEGE 180: R6P1 CB LAVERT HILL MICHIGAN 215: R7P1 DL DAVON HAMILTON OHIO STATE
THE DUKE
It'll be interesting to see how these mock draft boards change post senior bowl. I know Davon Hamilton should probably be moving up, along with a few other guys who had good weeks. I thought Hamilton was a mid round pick all along though, he has shown good steady improvement over his last 3 years at Ohio State.
SmittyBacall
No way Reagor and and Becton are there at those draft slots. I love Reagor though, I’d be happy with him at 33 if we went that direction.
THE DUKE
Used the Mock Draft Machine at Draft Countdown today, had to add in the 7th rd kicker manually since they aren't on that draft board Joe Burrow, QB, LSU Austin Jackson, OT, USC Josh Uche, Edge/LB, Michigan Damien Lewis, G, LSU David Woodward, LB, Utah State Davon Hamilton, DT, Ohio State Tyler Bass, K, Gerogia State I would have traded back from 33 if I could, just didn't like the options there. Would have loved to have moved back about 10 spots and picked up another 4th rd pick
