His arm looked like it lost a lot of strength this past season and that just isn't going to cut it in the Windy City.

Only 'contending' teams without an existing QB they like would be in play I would think.

What's a number you'd be comfortable bringing him in for? Mine is low, 8m which is barely more than Chases Danielss money.

Phil Rivers is not getting out of bed for 8 million.

I'd be suprised if the Bears were willing to pay what he might want however. Think he'll hang it up after there isn't much interest in FA* (*cue the Bears signing him to a 30m yearly average contract)

He recently moved his family to Florida so I would imagine he'd want to play closer to there or where he played college ball (South Carolina). I'd say Bucs, Panthers or Dolphins make most sense. I do not see Bears at all. Rivers isn't coming in to be back up and Bears are not going into the season without Mitch as their #1 starter. Dolphins bringing in Rivers in a rebuild would be odd to me. I don't see Bears doing it either by the way. Think Brady goes to SD?
BEAR FACE DOWN ARROW
For what seems to be a pretty loaded FA QB class, none of them really fit the Bears' needs too well.
WindyCity
The interesting angle is the Saints. I would gladly take Teddy or Drew, which ever one they decide not to bring back. Seems like the Saints are posturing by talking up Taysom Hill.

Tua won't be ready to start the season. They DO have the ol' Fitzmagic, though...

It makes sense if he went to CAR or TB most. 2 hours ago, WindyCity said: The interesting angle is the Saints. I would gladly take Teddy or Drew, which ever one they decide not to bring back. Then let’s hope Teddy’s market isn’t as strong as it could be.

But, if the Bears really want Mitch to succeed then they almost surely won’t bring in someone as obviously qualified as Teddy to take over week 1. I don’t agree with it, but that’s how I see it going down.
