I know it seemed late, Herb was trying to get around the action but he moved the same direction Alex did so he never got a visual on if Jiri was defending himself or not

Bro got TKO'd to end R1 and then got KO'd 5 seconds into R2. When he got dropped Alex waited cause Herb ran in but stopped. So Alex got two clean hammer fists in that prob woke Jiri up, all of that before Jiri rolled over and took 6-7 more shots. Jiri didn't defend any of the 8-9 shots that landed. Herb should've stopped it as soon as Alex landed the 1st hammerfist cause Jiri was just laying there dead and took it w/o probably even knowing where he was.

Gonna talk about Diaz-Masvidal here and not in the boxing thread, feels right.

Something notable about Nate and Nick's style specifically when you analyze MMA vs pure Boxing is how valuable those extra 2 minutes are in an MMA round for them along with those smaller gloves.

So far in both of Nate's boxing fights vs Jake Paul and Masvidal you've seen that pour on effect start to take place right as the rounds are ending. Those final two minutes are where Nate and Nick drown guys who can't keep pace throughout the 5 full minutes. In boxing their pure cardio and volume onslaught is nerfed. Add in the the bigger gloves covering more surface area and taking away those long looping shots the Diaz brother sneak around the smaller gloves in MMA, and it's almost impossible for these boxing contests to showcase their true style. The narrative becomes more about Nate constantly moving forward, his chin, and his antics vs any real skill.

I think a good fun fight to make next would be Nate Diaz vs Dustin Poirier at 170. Allows both of them get a good payday and gives Dustin an easier fan friendly sendoff fight. Also brings Nate back into the fold for that potential 3rd fight with Conor, which will probably be the final fight of both of their MMA careers.

I'm also demanding Sean Strickland vs Nick Diaz. Let the two pressure boxers collide.

Didn't even watch it but knew Diaz by points at +380 was too easy. Wish I put more on it.

Dustin is sounding like he wants one more so him vs Diaz would be awesome.

Dustin also says he doesnt need the money and that if he isnt fighting to get to the title then there’s no point. Beating Diaz does nothing to get him closer to a title

I feel like he'd definitely come back for Nate. They had been scheduled once before but it didn't happen, but they have been chirping each other ever since. Easy fight to sell too. I'd be here for it
