Pats#1
That didn’t look like a normal ligament tear (in my unprofessional opinion)…almost looked like the leg broke right below the knee. crazy
Buckrock101
Man that sucks. Super weird injury too, totally out of nowhere. Talking about Jan being up next for the title, but I'm not sure about that. It looks wide open to me in this division. The injury kinda hurts Jan's case for the title shot as well, I feel. If Ankalaev wins next, he's got to get the title shot. That would make him on a nine (9!) fight win streak in the division. If he loses, Smith has an argument, but I'm not sure, especially if Glover is still champ, since he beat Smith not too long ago. Then there's Paul Craig, if he beats Oezdemir in London. Feels weird to be pushing Paul Craig for a title shot, but you can't argue with his resume. Think Jan might be behind Ankalaev/Craig (if they both win their upcoming fights) in the race for the title shot, if I was doing the matchmaking. Smith, if he beats Ankalaev (and does so impressively) could possibly be ahead of him as well. Just not sure Jan has the resume to be putting him right back at the front of the line for a title shot. Didnt realize Lionheart v Ankalaev was booked. That’ll be fun. Yea Craig is so much fun, takes a beating and still snatches a sub
NYRaider
Reportedly the UFC is targeting Conor vs Hooker sometime in early 2023.

JaguarCrazy2832
I wish they’d let Ferguson fight Conor but given all the crap he talked they probably wouldn’t. Gives Conor someone on the decline like the Cowboy fight

Not sure Chandler is a warm up fight for him. Would probably want Ferguson/Hooker since both are on L streaks

agarcia34
I know we can’t take Connor serious as a fighter. Just way to inactive since he took that Floyd fight and the talent has grown so much, but I am intrigued a little with him in a comeback fight cause now he is jacked. Won’t fix his issues with the cardio but if he can add power might give him a chance. Feels like we could see him soon

Feels like we could see him soon His best bet was to cut the muscle mass and stick to 145 where his power translates but once you get fat, you don't go back. The worst thing to happen to him was the 4 punch KO of Eddie Alvarez. His power, while stunning, doesn't translate to 155 outside of punch drunk fighters.
