MacReady
This came up from people constantly saying that Rodgers needs more help. Yes. He does. NOT because we’re especially lacking in talent comparatively. He’s old. He’s got bad habits. We need to put more help around him because of his limits as he gets older, but the notion that we are sorely lacking offensively is all kinds of false. This is really pretty incredible. If you take PFF for anything, Gute and company need a LOT of credit for putting this team around Rodgers in spite of investing most draft capital and resources into defense. How we got this much talent offensively with such little draft capital is nothing short of outstanding. *I rounded to the nearest whole number for individual ratings, then rounded to the nearest 10th for overall scores. *I kept it simple and used a team’s 1st and 2nd rusher by rushing yards. *First and second TE/WR by receiving yards. *OL by most starts. -I will gradually update this with rankings, notes, etc. If you want to provide a ranking, for example Aaron Jones was 5th among backs (or whatever he was), go ahead and I will update the original post. -I will also add QB ratings soon enough. After that, I will provide a QB/Offense ratio. -I still do not think I was wrong about Jimmy Graham. It looks very obvious to me that BLOCKING weighs more in the TE ratings than receiving. We know Graham is not a blocker. We always knew this. -I really wish there was an easier way to do this. If there was, I would do this for defense, too. Since I don’t pay for PFF, I had to find the players with Player Season Finder, then Google each player’s PFF score. It took a lot of time. -These are ranked by Average Score of WR 1-3, RB 1-2, TE 1-2, Starting OL. 1. MacReady
What I really wanted to accomplish with this was to provide some perspective. For example, Billy Turner, whom many of us think is terrible, was tied for 21st among all starting guards. For those not good at math, 21/64 is top half of the entire league. So when people say he's above average, it's because he is. Average in the NFL is not good.

BarnettOSU
Question. What if the good O-Lines Rodgers has had lately, has caused him to believe he can hold onto the ball as long as he wants? What if we gave him a bad line and forced him to get the ball out fast? thinking out loud lol.

Arthur Penske
Teams should just all can their GMs and scouting staff and let PFF run their free agency/drafts, no?

Kepler
In that scenario he'd probably have 20 sacks until he was out for the year.
KingOfTheNorth
All this does is make me seriously question how PFF comes up with these ratings. Not saying your wrong by any stretch, but I don't think using PFF ratings are going to prove anything. For example look at how Philly is number 1. Yet it is pretty apparent to all that they need to inject some serious talent at the WR position. I agree with you that the Offense has plenty of quality players. That doesn't mean a specific position group of the offense isn't lacking in talent.
