No mail after june

Are you just arguing to argue? Or do you really think that the USPS is going to go under and then every single parcel service will then immediately refuse to deliver packages then too?

It is not legal for UPs or FedEx to deliver to po boxes. Go look up the mailing address of the irs payments due .

Buddy, you’re talking to an accountant that’s filed thousands of tax returns. I know where 1040-Vs have to be mailed.

5% of the population is required to file their taxes by mail. Another significant portion cannot e-file because of identity theft. The majority of audits are performed by mail, with mail requiring to be sent back to the IRS.

They’re not killing off the ability to send mail to the IRS in two months. It’s literally impossible for the infrastructure and procedures within the organization to change that quickly.

But good try.

The postmaster announced that's when they are out of money to operate.  No money, no operation.

Do you actually follow news, or get everything off this forum?

Oh sorry for not thinking that nothing can change in 2 months

Well POTUS has said he will not allowed them to be bailed out.  Congress has done nothing yet to address it.

But do keep on deflecting that you were uninformed on the issue.

Yes, because THAT'S the restriction they'll stick with. Every other restriction has to be loosened during this emergency, but the UPS delivering to PO Boxes? Nope... that's where we draw the line...

Well, I guess that's settled then. Can't go back on that in the next 60 days, it's set in stone...

Further, a very significant portion of the population don’t have bank accounts and therefore are completely incapable of paying over the phone.

But sure, they’re just going to kill off the USPS and provide no provisions to fix the fact that would make paying or filing for literally millions of Americans impossible.
