PackerLegend
1 hour ago, MuFF said: For clarification, if the Packers first pick is Aaron Rodgers, and Rodgers is my 3A player, that would be worth more (8-2 = 6) than having Rodgers be my 1D player (5)? Alas, Reserved. That is correct, your A picks are your most important picks. These picks are the ones you really think the Packers will draft. But dont forget, if you use say three A picks on three players you think they might draft with their first pick, you are now probably losing two A picks. So different strategies with your picks. tttmikeb
I have a question about scoring. I understand the idea behind not scoring picks 3+ spots away from where they're drafted. However, with half our picks in rounds 6 & 7, wouldn't it make more sense to make that based on Round number rather than Pick number? Like, if I have someone in one of my round 5 spots, but we pick him with our final 6th round pick, I wouldn't get credit for that. That seems extreme to me. I agree with the rule as I am sure it was meant to keep people from loading up on early picks in the later rounds. But this year is a little different like you say where the last 5 picks are closer together. But dont forget, your pick # 8 would get points in pick # 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. That is a pretty wide body of picks. Of course the later picks are always harder to pick then earlier picks. The thing I like is everyone are all on the same footing, nobody got an advantage. If you think a player you like will go higher then another player you like, obviously you put him higher. Thats all we can do.
