One way to interpret it, or that they hated losing a playoff game because of the backup QB. Could also be that they had an idea for this sub package for a more mobile QB. They dont like any QB to step in if Wentz goes down, Godforbid in a Playoff game again! No different IMO then drafting 3 and bringing 4 WR's for when they think DeSean eventually gets hurt. Lasts years Playoff game and the last 6 games of the season was a wake up call for the entire staff/FO. Showed them 2 things clear as day. We can't run this offense properly without a Speed WR to take the top off the Defense opening up the middle of the field fir the rest and the need for a viable back up QB. 4WR's and a QB later addressed both of those concerns moving forward.
