2 starting O-lineman

2 rotational defensive players

Backup QB / QBOTF

In the first 3 rounds you couldn't ask the Vikings to do anymore. Talented players, tons of value and tons of room for these guys to contribute.

can we do without the profanity from now on in our comments? it's unnecessary and it's against the rules.

it's also against forum rules to subvert the profanity filters by writing stuff like f***ing and such.

be grownups, use your words correctly. thanks.

Scheduled for six more picks today

119th (4th)
125th (4th)
134th (4th)
157th (5th)
168th (5th)
199th (6th)

I’ll be curious to see how many of them they use, if they trade down and add more, or if they can trade for some picks next year.

It really does seem like teams are holding on tight to their 2022 draft picks.

From the trades we've seen in this draft so far I'm pretty sure we'll be sticking and picking in this draft. Rick will still get his 10+ picks

Hopefully Vikings get a burner WR and a safety in the 4th and then another RB in the 5th hopefully Herbert.

I would not mind Terry but he does have some baggage, then again St. Brown could be interesting as could Grimes, Tylan Wallace and Jonathan Adams Jr.  At safety would not mind LeCounte, Sterns or Jamar Johnson.

Chazz suratt really is a head scratcher, he must have excellent interview skills & football IQ for the vikings staff to love him that much

That is a deceptive ranking because not sure I would fall Schwartz a reach with his Olympic track speed, or Trask who was lights out this past season, or Banks who is a beast, Mayfield who has a lot of upside, so does Mills.  Werner if anything should have been picked higher.  Mond has talent and could have easily gone in the 2nd if certain teams did not fill QB needs.  Spencer Brown has a huge upside, Little has a ton of talent and was once considered a 1st rounder and Kelvin Joseph has amazing ball skills, sure high for him but his athletic ability and coverage is elite.

Sure some guys were reaches in Nashon Wright, I would throw St. Juste from Minnesota in that group, he was a good corner but did not dominate this past season and was a lot different without Winfield Jr back there with him.  Stevens sure is a reach but has a lot of upside, Golston, Atwell and McKitty maybe a reach with McKitty but those other two are in that range but sure maybe should have gone in the 4th.

Still it all depends on who rated the players.  But yeah most of the guys on the steals list I would agree are steals outside of Milton Williams who went about where he should have.

Interesting board . . . And there are a few out there.   One I look at had Davis at 62 and Monday at 181.   I think the picks were great for the Vikes.   The only one who'll come in with starter expectations is Davis (I believe).   So, special teams and rotational contributions would be the floor for the others, except Mond.   He needs to absorb info and practice.
