Berry is a great assistant gm or vp of whatever but he shouldn’t be a GM. He’s great at contracts and does well in trades but to be a good GM you have to draft well no exceptions.

I agree with you.

It’s weird because most GMs bust in free agency and survive off of the draft.

This is the type of offense we want to run with Watson eventually. Spread out, shotgun, and have receiving threats who beat man to man coverage.

Which mean he and Chubb don’t fit together. Chubb is better out of sets like i formation when the QB is under centre. One of them needs to change their game

WR corps is going to need a shot in the arm, then. Berry going to have to do a lot in that area as well as shoring up the middle of the D this off-season with less draft capital, worse cap situation, and us not looking like as desirable of a destination as the other years he's been here. Going to be a true test for him.

Probably won’t ever be big spenders in free agency, but we won’t be in the red due to rollover cap and the NFL continuing to grow.

We could still go after a Daron Payne, Javon Hargrave or Dalvin Tomlinson.

The one thing Berry can do is manage contracts. I expect us to have plenty of money with a lot of contract restructuring. So I don’t think that will be an issue.

Two of my favorites, I absolutely love both games. Hargrave wasted 4 years in Pittsburgh being at Nose when his game and skillset screamed 1 gap. Payne is a bull in a china shop inside, he is a physical animal who doesn't back down to anyone
