2 no call false starts on Cannon on game tying drive.

Gronk DPI

Cannon once okay, that still doesn't automatically give the Pats a 1st down.

Gronk committed defensive pass interference? When?

Refs won that game. Of course that's no excuse for the defense but wow, such a crappy way to lose a game.

It would be more forgivable but it was the second time on the same guy. At some point you have to accept the refs will call what they are going to call

The Patriots got a huge gain on the first Cannon false start and instead of 2nd and long, it was 1st and 10.

Gronk had a flop that got us a big chunk of yards for DPI.

He was actually interfered with by the rule book,  he just made sure the refs saw it.

Again, Cannon no call didn't give the Pats an automatic 1st down.

That Gronk play was a clear penalty even without the flop.

Matt Patricia needs to get his coaching on.

Belichick needs to get some quality big bodies up front. Whiffing on Easley and Brown, losing the pick to the ridiculous deflation nonsense....the lack of top end young talent is an issue. They patched it together nicely last year with a career year from Branch and quality contributions from guys like Long but the DT talent is really hurting and they have no consistent edge presence.

And more than that, he was held by Kuechly the play before...but the refs called OPI on him.

Jerome Boger and crew were terrible today. So many missed holding calls on Carolina's offensive line. Highly questionable hands to the face calls. I rarely complain about officiating but that was frustrating to see all those close calls going against us and then seeing Carolina get away with what they did.
