This. If we can get resign Chubb to a deal similar to Mixon's or Henry's, I think he could be brought back. But if he's going to reset the market, which he very well likely could if he wants to, then it's unlikely we'd resign him. Probably franchise him at the most. It can be done I think, lower the total cap hit but make Chubbs contract really high with guaranteed money to give him more incentive. Mixon got 42 million/10 guaranteed. True, but I think with the nerd front office there is a way to lessen the blow of the total cap hit but provide Chubb with a elite contract from a guaranteed money standpoint. Plus we just saw the Cheifs spend 4 billion dollars on extending everyone so I know its possible to retain everyone if they want to badly enough.
