Ty21
Knives out was unspectacular. Kinda felt like the Bayou murder episode of the office in some ways. Ready or Not was considerably better az I thought they were similar

Amazing. It's like every movie he's in, it happens!

MacReady
The Vast of Night was... I don’t know what to say. I enjoyed it. I wouldn’t recommend it because I know most people wouldn’t like it, but I thought it was great.

EDIT - That includes the scene in the car btw. Edited July 9, 2020 by beekay414

I wouldn’t recommend it because I know most people wouldn’t like it, but I thought it was great. It was a nice little gem. Slow, simple but captivating. Also has one of the best single shot scenes I have ever seen.

EDIT - That includes the scene in the car btw. Yep, it reminded me a lot of everything I love about Stranger Things before Stranger Things took off and kinda got a bit ahead of itself thinking it had to up the ante every season. Character oriented, outstanding dialogue, great acting, and a fun kind of whimsical eeriness all taking place in a small town with ordinary people facing extraordinary events. Not one that I will rewatch too many times, but definitely one I will own just to add to my collection. Will be keeping a close eye on Andrew Patterson henceforth. 90% confident he's going to be the next big director.
MacReady
Uncut Gems is just annoying. I hate movies about losers who keep being idiot losers. What am I supposed to be pulling for Adam Sandler? He’s a moron loser.
MacReady
Am I the only one who watched Uncut Gems and wanted Sandler to die? It’s not over yet, but I’m hoping he gets shot at the end for being a loser moron.
