GTD Money has structure. And not all of it is fully GTD. Not all of it is fully GTD against injury. A lot of it is the signing bonus, but rosters/work outs/status bonus all count as "GTD". There could have been only $15m GTD against injury. Thats the point. We dont know.

Dak was offered a BOAT load of money and turned it down, period nfl networks estimates 100 mill NFL Network reported that Prescott turned down a deal worth at least $33 million per season, with $100 million guaranteed over five years. He wanted a four-year deal. maybe it was 80 million point still stands, hard to feel bad when that was offered

Matts4313
DMN - paywall Dak will be out of the hospital today. Expected 4-6 months of rehab. Edited October 12, 2020 by Matts4313

Jerry is going to resign Dak to a huge contract. I have zero doubt in my mind. Especially since Dallas is out of the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes. All the teams we play suck to bad for us to be in it.

If ANY of you, me included, was offered a job of 3 million a year over the next 3 years, we would JUMP at the chance! Just because professional sports, and I use that term laughingly, has turned into a cash grab with no end to how much the amounts would escalate on a yearly basis, does not mean I should have sympathy for a player that turned down a very lucrative offer. Greed outweighed common sense here. Now, I hope and pray for a speedy recovery for Prescott, but this was a foolish and possibly vain decision. brooks1957
The video of Dak on the cart being wheeled away was just heartbreaking. From the Dawg Pound to the Star - our condolences on the injury. But with what Dak has already overcome in his life, I think he will rehab properly and be back leading the Cowboys once again. He is a good overall dude, the kind that is needed in today's NFL. Hoping and praying for a speedy and successful recovery.

If you could run Amazon, would you take $20b a year or $3m? If you could Rap like Eminem, would you take $5m a year or $1m? If you could teach at Harvard, would you take the $1m a year or the $60k of a normie? Some people have more talent than the rest of us. WheatieMan
Are there any veteran tackles out there we can trade for? I think tackle is the more pressing issue. Who is a "retired" FA we can sign? What about trading with a team that's out of it?

There is no way McGovern could be any worse of a player than Steele, so I'd start him at G and slide Martin out to RT. A line of: Knight - Williams - Biadasz - McGovern - Martin looks a hell of a lot better than anything involving Steele starting.
