If you're looking for a role player I guess but he's just so limited offensively, not sure why he's being mocked in the top 10.

And he's not really a great shooter so the 3&D appeal isn't really there. 34% on 4 attempts a game at the collegiate level doesn't really inspire confidence in his 3pt shot. 32.5% on 4 attempts for his career.

Watching some Usman Garuba, would be hesitant to spend a 1st round pick on him.

why?  he has the potential to be an elite defender in the league.  that alone is worth picking him round 1.  i know some might be hesitant his shooting needs work but he has potential. He is still young too. (Will be 19 when the season starts).  hope he is an option at pick 23 and 24.

Small ball 5 with the size of a 3/4 and zero skill/range on his jumper.

I love that haul for Detroit.  Cade and Ayo is huge.  Todd has upside and probably would have been a higher pick had he gone to college.  I'd probably go Ayayi instead of Shannon but whatever at that point.  I also doubt we keep all of those seconds.  I have seen us package some of them to move into the first.  Also saw one today with us trading Josh Jackson and a 2nd to get to 22 from the Lakers.  If we did that I'd like to see Trey Murphy as the pick there.

Giddey/Bassey would be a decent haul for SA. Hard to see Keon Johnson lasting to 15.

first of all what a ridiculous trade

secondly they could pick a handful of dirt with that pick and troy weaver should still be given executive of the year on the spot

Seriously. What's the motivation for the Lakers?

We'll trade #30 for Jackson

The motivation is they need shorter cheaper contracts and are in win now mode.  Josh Jackson offers some scoring off the bench and a long body for defense on the wing.  Likely more impactful out of the gate for this season than anyone they will get at 22 plus Jackson is still only 24 years old.
