Yeah lets strive to be the Falcons and Lions of the last few years. That should be our aim.

While we're at it, lets give Josh Jacobs a 90 million dollar contract like Zeke Elliott since he has played just as well as him the last two years.

I see your point. I also think those teams just had god awful management. If that is the case for us, we're screwed regardless.

They key to this season for me is improving the run blocking (which could elevate the offense into the top 5) and finding impact playmakers on defense.

I'd love Watson or Wilson, but the odds that we can offer MORE than carolina, miami, nyj, etc. is minimal.

I just think isolated it doesnt mean much.
Matt Cassel has 2 10 Win seasons, but that doesnt make him better than Carr IMO, but i know it does to others.

Cassel only started 81 games in 13 years we’re the only team who puts up with losing. Other teams replace guys

so is atlanta adumb team or not? Im now confused?
is it ok to compare Carr with a QB like Ryan? or does he suck lol?

If carr had Matt Ryan’s resume we wouldn’t have this convo. I don’t think Matt is good I never liked him but he is way more accomplished than anyone in Carr’s whole family tree

That is because, teams won those games. Not Matt Cassel. Matt Cassel threw 21 TDs - 11 Ints and went 10-5.
It didnt take a ton to see Cassel was not the reasons the Pats were winning.

But if you only care about QB wins then he was great.

Teams got rid of him, because he wasnt good.

yes agreed, but Ryan was very close to winning a superbowl. . . and if that was the case, youd see him as great right? because its all about the QB?

haha I mean he is in the HOF? and if you watch a bills game they almost always bring his name up.
I think Raider fans may just have way to high expectations lol
winning MVP - scrub
HOFer - scrub

Or maybe your expectations are too low?
Honestly how do you view Jim Kelly is he on the Mount Rushmore of qb’s?

Honestly, before my time so Im not going to pretend to be a massive jim kelly fan

but 4 straight Superbowl appearances is pretty fricken impressive.
his qb record of 101-59 is also pretty amazing. . .
im surprised you arent in love with the guy looking at it 🤣

fair enough, i think same can be said about those KC teams too. the fact they went 4-12, 10-6, then 4-5, with him in 3 years shows that the QB position alone does not dictate who wins game.
I do agree that it is the single most important position.
