Just unmuted the game and Collinsworth was right in the middle of a hype man monologue praising Mahomes. We get it. We really, really do. Don’t you get tired of saying the same stuff?

I mean, what else is he supposed to talk about? Like, what's the alternative here, to praising the guys who made a good play?

I can't beleive that I'm actually going to defend to Collinsworth here but every announcer kisses his butt. And let's be honest, they do this with every good QB.

Collinsworth is actually really fun to listen to when he’s not on TV. But when he is...I just hope Mahomes, Rodgers, and Wilson’s PR guys are cutting him a check.

Maybe not doing the haw haw haw incredulous voice like he’s never seen anything like it before. He did, when he read the same lines earlier in the season. Enjoy the game but cool it with the fanboyism.

Seems like we had more.

does that include declined penalties?

Yes. KC has 9 accepted, 4 declined. GB has 1 accepted, 4 declined. So Rodgers has a higher success rate in terms of how often he gets enough value to decline the penalty, but Mahomes draws defenders offsides more often.

Last year it was even less close. 16 for KC (8 accepted, 8 declined) and 5 for GB (3 accepted, 2 declined.)

KC also led in 2018. 12 accepted, 10 declined.

Stafford is actually the second best QB to Mahomes in this regard, 2 years running.

Okay, but throw in 12 man on the field calls too :)
