J-ALL-DAY Posted December 25, 2020 Share Posted December 25, 2020 Nash needs to stagger Kyrie's and Durant's minutes at the end of the 3rd quarter. Makes no sense to play both the entire 3rd quarter and then have them on the bench for the first six minutes of the 4th quarter. Those two are +20 and the bench unit was -11 in the first half. He started off slow against the Warriors in the 1st half before getting it going. Maybe he just need to get used to coming off the bench so it can be natural. I don’t understand why people thought the Nets won’t play any defense. They retained Vaughn who had the Nets playing great defense in the bubble. Allen, Jordan, KD, Shamet, Prince, and Brown can all play individual defense and as a team the Nets can play team defense well. So that narrative of the Nets will play no defense and be bottom 5 defense like Nick Wright keep saying is a horrible take. Not even saying the Nets have to be a top 10 defense.
