Making the playoffs with 11 wins surely is an outlier statistically...

How many teams with winning records have the Pack won over TT/MM/DC regime? Let alone on the road which this team hilariously finds itself come playoff time with the best QB in the game.

It's not impressive either.

why are we letting alone "on the road". You're shifting to something and I don't know why.

If it were easy to replace an all-pro QB and maintain success there should be more examples.

Ah, the Packers outside of one post season run almost a decade ago don't travel well - and unfortunately also get thumped at home in the postseason - which hilariously enough rarely happens because they have had to travel after the wildcard round most years.

So what is it they do well, outside of having a generational talent at QB?

you're all over the place now. weren't we talking about replacing an all-pro QB? what happened to that point?

I hate this argument so much.  How good are the Patriots without Tom Brady?  How about the Eagles without Carson Wentz?  This whole fallacy that somehow the Packers are built poorly because they lose their star QB is terrible logic.

NE's record without Brady during the 4 game suspension was 3-1 last season?

Think the Pack wins >70% of their games without ARod this season?

Me neither.

Replacing an all-pro QB ain't easy - teams have done enough hold their head above water sans one before.., but critics of this teams direction and overall philosophy over the past 7-10 years would point out that the only reason they eek out 10 wins (in difficult fashion sometimes), is because of said QB play.

We're about to find out what the mettle of this organization is made of.

Aaron won't be Aaron for much longer, and those of us who were screaming for Ted to do more, feared this exact day for that reason. You bet on a bull market and get out, then re-evaluate your position with the assets you have, TT played a once in a lifetime QB like it was a 30 year 401k investment.

Ted finally signed free agents and he still did nothing.

Nothing matters unless we win it all. Nothing anyone could ever do, any gm, any coach, anything will ever be enough unless we win. The complaints shift and turn and twist. All because we haven't won again. It's all that matters. The decisions don't actually matter. Only the outcome. It gets so hard to listen to the complaints every year like they're so obvious and easy when they change so often.

Even those of us who don't scream at TT "fear" the day that Aaron Rodgers gets a season-ending injury. I'm not sure why one needs to have screamed at TT to be aware that this loss is critical to team success.

Maybe when Aaron retires all these "fans" will root for another team and our collective fan base IQ can go back up.

Or Elliot Wolf will be a good GM and we'll just be subjected to another 20 years of people wanting all 53 men on the roster to either a Pro Bowler or a FA vet.

Because many believe he was complacent post super bowl in his team building approaches. Those on here who rallied to the flag of "the future" now get to reap what long term investing sowed... not much.

It's so exhausting every time they can they need to go tell us all how they always knew what was wrong and how to fix it or whatever. It's the only reason like 20% of these guys post.

Wolf would get a pass for a bit. Not long though.

this doesn't even mean anything.

are you suggesting those who "rallied to the flag of the future" got Aaron Rodgers injured?

Yawn. You all called it. You are all geniuses because Rodgers broke just collarbone. You are vindicated because he got hurt. I hope it's worth it.

It doesn't matter. Rodgers could get hit by a bus and that would be proof that were right. It's all they want. They want to be told they knew how to fix this team. They said the same crap before 2010 and now they weren't wrong. It was a fluke. If Rodgers comes back and we're 9-7 and win the SB, we won because of something they were right about somehow.
