If you are talking about obviously cooked players like DJAX, Alshon, Peters or rarely used players like Malik Jackson or prematurely paying players like they are at the top of the position when there not like Wentz, sure. At the time the Eagles thought they had a clear path to the playoffs and were at the very least division favorites. They thought they had a top 10 QB who would keep them in contention no matter what.
