Mock Draft 1,000.0

  Reveal hidden contents

If every team had their original first round pick.

1. Raleigh- Trevor Lawrence QB Clemson

Cousins isn’t the answer and they grab Lawrence here.

2. Hungary- Penei Sewell OT Oregon

They gave up this pick for Dak irl, they 3up him here and take the top T who is an elite talent.

3. Cancun- Ja’Marr Chase WR LSU

They give Mahomes another weapon.

4. Anchorage- DeVonta Smith WR Bama

With only 1 first rounder instead of 5 I take the Slim Reaper to give Burrow a top receiving target.

5. Seoul- Micah Parsons LB PSU

LBer doesn’t seem to be a huge need but Samsel likes versatile players and Parsons is that with great talent.

6. AKB- Rashawn Slater OL NW

I am a bit bored of the Pitts pick here although that is what it will be if he is here. Slater gives AKB a versatile OL player they really need.

7. Camden- Patrick Surtain ll CB Bama

Injuries plagued Camden at the position. They found a nice steal in Sneed and take Surtain here to bolster that corner group with Ward as well.

8. Rome- Kyle Pitts TE UF

Rome can put Dan Arnold and the other Rome TE corpses to rest as they get the mismatch nightmare Pitts here at 8.

9. NO- Caleb Farley CB VT

Lukic has Gilmore with one more year left and while he has Jackson and Bradbury and the rookie Dantzler who looked promising he adds to the corps here with Farley.

10. Lancaster- Jaylen Waddle WR Bama

Lancaster has Evans, Diontae, and Pittman a solid trio but they lack that game breaker at WR and Waddle provides that here.

11. Death Valley- Zach Wilson QB BYU

Wilson is QB2 maybe even QB1 and Death Valley gets their QBOTF here.

12. Gotham- Justin Fields QB OSU

Gotham needs a QB and they get Fields here.

13. Singapore- Jaycee Horn CB SCAR

They need LBers and they need edge but adding to the Corner group is critical in this league to have a couple guys who can step in at any moment.

14. Berlin- Gregory Rousseau Edge Miami

They don’t really need edge help but Rags takes a guy he is high on here for BPA.

15. IC- Christian Barmore INT Bama

IC adds the young interior Dlineman who was a monster in the college football playoffs. His stock is rising and adding him here with the rest of that defense watch out. IC has 3 2nds as well to build this championship caliber team up even more.

16. Cuba- Zaven Collins LB Tulsa

Collins is a do it all LBer in a big body who has great cover instincts and can rush the passer. I am excited to see how he is used in the NFL. Frogs can use him in some creative ways.

I'd probably go Zaven or JOK there if the board fell that way.  I can't really rely on Rashaan after his play fell this season and I love Zaven.

Or say screw it and go Najee.

As requested,   take it easy on me....  this is my first mock ever.

Apologies on the format,   if it's unreadable on mobile yell at me.

Draft Order Pick Owner Pick Pos Reason
1 1.1 Anchorage Trappers Trevor Lawrence QB Cuz
2 1.2 Death Valley Football Team Justin Fields QB He has the picks to gamble on this pick.
3 1.3 Death Valley Football Team Penei Sewell OT Just the best value right now,   not the biggest need but instantly changes this OL
4 1.4 Anchorage Trappers Micah Parsons LB Counselor wants to add versatility to his D
5 1.5 Seoul Dragons Ja'Marr Chase WR Seoul could really use a top threat on the outside
6 1.6 Antarctica Katabatic Beasts Kyle Pitts  TE If they decide to roll with Tua in the coming years,  upgrading the TE position will be key
7 1.7 Anchorage Trappers DeVonta Smith WR Counselor is giddy,   after grudgingly taking the best value at #4,  he takes his top target at #7.
8 1.8 Rome Eternals Greg Rousseau Edge Plenty of options for BCB here,  he decides to take a chance on the upside of Rousseau
9 1.9 Anchorage Trappers Jaylen Waddle  WR Back to back Alabama WR's for Counselor.   With his RB's, Noah Fant,   and his now trio of Alabama WR's.  He has a nice foundation of youth for his young QB's.
10 1.1 Camden Hood Rats Daviyon Nixon DT Need,  value.   Jlash is stunned counselor didn't use one of his first 4 selections on Nixon.
11 1.11 Death Valley Football Team Rashawn Slater  OL Ww already features a good OL,  so doubling up maybe question it.   But Slater is a baller and will help ride Henry until the wheels fall off.
12 1.12 Gotham Gashslayers Patrick Surtain II CB Debating rolling with a QB,  but Gotham is ready to compete.   He 3 up's Carr and loads up on defense.
13 1.13 Singapore Sentinels Zach Wilson QB Singapore decides to roll the dice on the upside of Wilson.  They have the roster to gamble.
14 1.14 Anchorage Christian Darrisaw OT Even with Andrew Thomas improving to end the year,  Seoul loads up his OT group.
15 1.15 Ivory Coast Black Rhinos Caleb Farley CB Best value on the board,  a lot will be determined by his 3 ups.  But Ivory continues to invest into cheap DB's to free up future space for that DL
16 1.16 Cuba Smugglers Jaycee Horn CB I almost went a couple different directions here,  but CB is a need and Horn is solid value right here
17 2.1 Anchorage Trappers Joseph Ossai Edge Ossai is exactly the type of Edge Counselor likes,   "might" be a slight reach here,  but he has the picks to go after who he wants
18 2.2 Ivory Coast Black Rhinos Trey Lance QB I like this set up for Ivory,  a ton of risk with the selection,  but it could pay off in the long run.
19 2.3 Seoul Zaven Collins LB Another versatile LB for Counselor.   Next to Murray in a 3/4.   Scary set up
20 2.4 Ivory Coast Black Rhinos Samuel Cosmi OT Ivory could use some young OL the make up for these cap hits that are looming
21 2.5 Antarctica Katabatic Beasts Kwity Paye  DE Could go a number of different directions here,  I'm not sure if Antarctica wants to continue running a 3-4,  but Paye gives them a nice assortment of Edge players.
22 2.6 Anchorage Trappers Azeez Ojulari Edge Counselor is stocking up another position.
23 2.7 Rome Eternals Rashad Bateman WR Flying under the radar,   Rome gets a solid all around WR for Herbert.
24 2.8 Rome Eternals Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah LB Taking BPA here,   Rome rolls the dice a guy who can do a bit of everything from the LB spot.
25 2.9 Camden Hood Rats Josh Myers  C   Camden's interior could use an injection of youth.  Myers seems to fit their play style.
26 2.1 Death Valley Football Team Chris Olave WR Death Valley pairs up the former Ohio State tandem.
27 2.11 Gotham Gashslayers Dylan Moses LB Gotham roles the dice with Alabama alum with their first two selections.
28 2.12 Camden Hood Rats Terrance Marshall Jr. WR Camden decides to give AJ Brown some help on the outside.
29 2.13 Singapore Sentinels Wyatt Davis OG Singapore adds the big fella to help pave the wave for their stable of backs.
30 2.14 Berlin Blitzkrieg Travis Etienne RB A 3 up with Aaron Jones could change this pick,   but Etienne would inject some more making to this offense
31 2.15 Ivory Coast Black Rhinos Jay Tufele DT Ivory ignores bigger needs,   and continues to add to this lethal Front 7.
32 2.16 Seoul  Creed Humphrey C New Orleans first pick doesn't come off a sexy,  but really balances out this offensive attack.
33 3.1 Antarctica Katabatic Beasts Jalen Mayfield OL Antarctica rolls the dice with the talented, but raw OL
34 3.2 Gotham Gashslayers Pat Freiermuth TE Gotham completes an their excellent skill positions,  Freiermuth would fit this offense like a glove
35 3.3 Antarctica Katabatic Beasts Alijah Vera-Tucker OL Back to back versatile OL for Antarctica,  they can figure out the positions later.
36 3.4 Cancun Kaiju Alex Leatherwood OL Cancun makes an appearance.   Plenty of options to go with here,  a lot depends on the 3 ups.   I'm rolling with Leatherwood.  He should help solify one spot along the OL.
37 3.5 Seoul Dragons Najee Harris RB RB is an obvious need for Seoul,  Pairing Kyler and Najee could provide quite a spark.
38 3.6 Antarctica Katabatic Beasts Shaun Wade CB Antarctica goes a little off board here,   they have the perimeter locked down.   Wade gives them an excellent slot defender.
39 3.7 Gotham Gashslayers Jaelen Phillips DE Gotham buys into the hype,   they could use an injection into their pass rush.
40 3.8 Rome Eternals Rondale Moore WR Herbert will appreciate the deep threat additions in this draft
41 3.9 New Orleans Jazz Nick Bolton  LB Obvious need for New Orleans,   Bolton plays with physicality.  Still has room to grow
42 3.1 Gotham Gashslayers Trey Smith OG Not the biggest need,  but Smith would really help balance out the offense.
43 3.11 Anchorage Trappers Brevin Jordan  TE Keep piling on the athletes for  Lawrrow
44 3.12 Raleigh Firebirds Jayson Oweh DE There's a team named Raleigh in here… never heard of em..    They step up for their first selection and go for potential.
45 3.13 Cancun Kaiju Daniel Faalele OT I'm sticking to the OL again for Cancun,  protecting Mahomes should help them be competive in any game.
46 3.14 Berlin Blitzkrieg Erik Stokes CB Not many needs for Berlin,   they add the consistent CB from Georgia
47 3.15 Ivory Coast Black Rhinos Trevon Moehrig S First safety off the board.   I like his fit with that Ivory Coast D
48 3.16 Seoul Dragons Tyson Campbell CB Seoul might need a few CB's
49 4.1 Seoul Dragons Hamilcar Rashed Jr. Edge Seoul gets left with one of the tweeners Counselor wasn't able to nab
50 4.2 Raleigh Firebirds Jordan Davis DT Raleigh starts to build up a position group,  continuing to add to the DL.
51 4.3 Hungary Hippos Carlos Basham Jr. DE Hungary steps up with their first and only selection.  They decide to go with consistency at a position of need.
52 4.4 Death Valley Football Team Patrick Jones II DE Not the biggest need, but adding edge depth never hurts.
53 4.5 Antarctica Katabatic Beasts Kadarius Toney WR Exciting playmaker for Lamar/Tua to target from the slot.
54 4.6 Death Valley Football Team Derion Kendrick  CB Death Valley has nice corners, but will they pay all them moving forward?
55 4.7 Camden Hood Rats Paulson Adebo CB Camden decides to take a shot on Adebo.  His potential is worth it at this point in the draft
56 4.8 Rome Eternals Dillon Radunz OT Not an immediately need,   but Radunz is starting to slip and the value is too good at this point.
57 4.9 Camden Hood Rats Jackson Carmon OL Not sure where Carmon fits in,  but I like the player at this spot.
58 4.1 Death Valley Football Team Javonte Williams RB Ww adds some insurance to an offense built around Henry.
59 4.11 Cancun Kaiju Amon-Ra St. Brown WR Cancun continues to build around the future with Mahomes.
60 4.12 Singapore Sentinels Pete Werner LB Singapore adds a verstaile LB to go alongside Deion
61 4.13 Singapore Sentinels Quincy Roche Edge Not the biggest need,  but his burst off the edge could cause problems along with the interior of that DL
62 4.14 Cuba Smugglers Jabril Cox LB Cuba adds a versatile LB to the mix
63 4.15 Ivory Coast Black Rhinos Liam Eichenberg OL Don't love the player, but he's solid value at this point
64 4.16 Cuba Smugglers Andre Cisco S

Versatile guy,   insurance behind Mathieu and James.

65

5.1   Camden Hood Rats Victor Dimukeje Edge Camden could use some depth at DE.  Excellent option as the 3rd down specialist.
66 5.2 Seoul Dragons Hamsah Nasirildeen S Total projection at this point,   but unreal potential
67 5.3 New Orleans Jazz Chazz Surratt LB New Orleans continues to add to their LB corps to solidify a very solid Defense.
68 5.4 Cancun Kaiju Joe Tryon Edge Cancun finally adds to their defense,  adding a bit more pass rush would help out their tremendous CB unit
69 5.5 New Orleans Jazz Deonte Brown OG Not very versatile,  but he's very good at what he is.
70 5.6 Antarctica Katabatic Beasts Tyler Shelvin DT Antarctica could use a mountain in the middle
71 5.7 Seoul Dragons Asante Samuel Jr. CB Meh
72 5.8 Rome Eternals Richard Lecounte III S Lecounte, along with the Delpit coming back adds some fire to the back end up this unit
73 5.9 Cancun Kaiju Myjai Sanders  Edge Cancun fires off back to back Edge selections to bolster youth into this area.

75 5.11 Gotham Gashslayers Marvin Wilson DT Gotham takes a chance that Wilson lives up to his hype.
76 5.12 Ivory Coast Black Rhinos Paris Ford S Ivory completes it's rookie S tandem
77 5.13 Death Valley Football Team Baron Browning LB Browning seems like the type of LB Death Valley likes
78 5.14 Cancun Kaiju Walker Little OT Cancun has to gamble a bit here,  but per usual I'm protecting the man.
79 5.15 Ivory Coast Black Rhinos Jeremy Ruckert TE I'm reaching a bit here,   but again I just like how this player fits with his current roster
80 5.16 Cuba Smugglers Alim McNeill DT Depth is needed along the interior DL
81 6.1   Seoul Dragons Chuba Hubbard RB Continuing to test out RB's
82 6.2 Anchorage Trappers Shaka Toney Edge I'm continuing with my Edge picks for Counselor,  each give him the versatility he wants
83 6.3 Berlin Blitzkrieg Nico Collins  WR He's not Davante,  but pairs Rodgers with a guy that has a massive catch radius
84 6.4 Death Valley Football Team T.J. Carter CB It feels like I keep making picks for Death Valley,   either way   T.J. Carter is a guy I have a bit higher than most.
85 6.5 Antarctica Katabatic Beasts Darius Stills DT Antarctica comes back with the complete opposite of their prior pick.   Once again adding to the DL.
86 6.6 Cancun Kaiju Rashad Weaver Edge Cancun is going to protect Mahomes, and get after the opposing QB in this mock.
