Lions sign Saints TE Josh Hill

I'm sure we'll hear "now it's just the Saints Way" nonsense. But this isn't overpaying a guy who you're looking to be a key starter. This is a support-role guy.

Interested to see what the contract is.

Nah... nothing so far suggest that. Campbell was the TE's coach, we all know the story, Lions need a cost effiecent #2 TE. He's familiar with this player. This one make sense cause Hill's about the same player as James, just cheaper. An there's still a possibility for someone to rise on the roster cause Hills role isn't exactly prohibiting any other TE's offensive development. He'll prolly be mainly used as a blocker.

Can't even go over all the atrocities the last regime did to this team and our fan-base!

I figured they might keep him. A few of these guys have to stay so we can field a team. Shelton was the one who had to go.

At his cost vs cap savings, it just seems like there's far too much invested for what he has to offer.
