Superduperman
https://www.freep.com/story/sports/nfl/lions/2021/03/13/detroit-lions-sign-new-orleans-saints-josh-hill-blocking-tight-end/4679921001/ Lions sign Saints TE Josh Hill I'm sure we'll hear "now it's just the Saints Way" nonsense. But this isn't overpaying a guy who you're looking to be a key starter. This is a support-role guy.

Campbell was the TE's coach, we all know the story, Lions need a cost effiecent #2 TE. He's familiar with this player. This one make sense cause Hill's about the same player as James, just cheaper. An there's still a possibility for someone to rise on the roster cause Hills role isn't exactly prohibiting any other TE's offensive development. He'll prolly be mainly used as a blocker. Can't even go over all the atrocities the last regime did to this team and our fan-base!

Superduperman
I figured they might keep him. A few of these guys have to stay so we can field a team. Shelton was the one who had to go.

At his cost vs cap savings, it just seems like there's far too much invested for what he has to offer.
Louis Friend
Peter Schrager reporting the Lions are trying to make a move. Not knowing what the move is, I didn’t know where to put this.
