swede700
Quote The Houston Texans have released wide receiver Jaelen Strong after his one-game suspension related to an arrest in February 2016. Strong was appealing the decision. http://abc13.com/sports/texans-release-wr-jaelen-strong-after-marijuana-arrest/2429814/ I know some guys around here were fans of his in the 2015 draft. Apparently, he wasn't very good.
vike daddy
Carson Palmer would have certainly preferred a different result last night, but the Cardinals quarterback entered an exclusive club with a pair of touchdown passes. Via ESPN, Palmer’s 100th touchdown pass with the Cardinals made him just the fourth quarterback in league history with triple-digit touchdown passes with two different teams. Palmer also threw 154 touchdowns with the Bengals. The other three were Kurt Warner (102 with the Rams and 100 with the Cardinals), Fran Tarkenton (239 with the Vikings and 103 with the Giants) and Peyton Manning (399 with the Colts and 140 Broncos). http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/09/26/carson-palmer-joins-exclusive-club-with-100th-touchdown-as-cardinal/ do you guys notice when QB's set or surpass a record, Tarkenton's name gets mentioned too...? vike daddy
Odell Beckham, with about four minutes to go in the fourth quarter, jumped for a high slant and got his left ankle trapped against the ground upon landing. His emotions from there on out told the story. Wincing and tearing up, Beckham eventually covered his face as the cart wheeled him into the MetLife Stadium locker room. The Giants confirmed that Beckham fractured his ankle. An MRI is scheduled to see if there is any ligament damage, NFL Network Kimberly Jones added. The Giants, now 0-5, might have had their eyes on next year already. This injury will sink any microscopic chance they had of righting the ship. Only one team in NFL history (the 1992 San Diego Chargers) had previously reached the playoffs. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000858353/article/what-we-learned-from-sundays-week-5-early-games

vike daddy
With the New England Patriots' 24-17 victory over the New York Jets, Tom Brady became the all-time leader for the most career regular-season wins by an NFL quarterback. He earned his 187th career win, breaking a three-way share for the lead he held with Peyton Manning and Brett Favre. vike daddy
Patriots QB Tom Brady is the only player in the NFL who has passed for more than 100 first downs this season. Brady also leads the league in completions, yards, 20+ yard completions and 40+ yard completions. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/10/25/wednesday-morning-one-liners-412/

SemperFeist
That’s why they have a 500 foot screen. For the people in the back. Its not like 100,000 people got front row veiwing at the previous venues.
