I think the key thing they looked at was richardson high pointed it and even when he regrabbed it on the way down he did it before Collins got his hands around it. Then collins got a arm full of the ball and they both hit the ground where Collins probably had a stronger grip but to be fair richardson never lost possession at all of the ball and he had 1st possession of it fully when they hit the ground.
