You can find your number 1 wr in free agency. You can find a good number 2 wr in the draft. Hell the lions got a solid starter in st. Brown in round 4. I think viska will be better then this year if we get a wr coach that knows how to teach If you want me to find good RT’s or interior OL that are available in FA or have been found in years past in the middle/late rounds I can do the same. Other people can hold different opinions than you, it’s fine. I promise.

Chops013
My Byron Leftwich/Adrian Wilson Mock Offseason OC : Kevin Garver - Currently the WR coach in TB. Been with Byron since Arizona. Only 34 and considered one of the better up-and-comers in the coaching ranks. DC : Joe Cullen - Think the players stump for him. Not sure which DC candidates Byron could pull from. Re-Sign: DJ Chark WR Tyler Shatley OC Adam Gotsis DL Damien Wilson MLB Andrew Wingard SAF Michael Wright K Free Agency Christian Kirk WR or Chris Godwin WR - Leftwich and Wilson are familiar with Kirk in AZ. Leftwich could bring Godwin over on a 1 year ACL deal. Haason Riddick OLB - Familiar with Adrian Wilson. Stud edge defender to line up across Allen. OJ Howard TE - Familar with Leftwich. Good TE2 to pair with Dan Arnold. Josh Rosen QB - A favorite of Byron. Been with him in Arizona and Tampa. Draft 1.1 Evan Neal OL - Would give him the Ogden treatment and start his career at LG. Jawaan gets one last shot to redeem himself, otherwise Neal is your RT. 2.1 George Pickens WR - Has a superstar ceiling and seems like the tall, jump-ball WR that Trevor likes 3.1 Zach Carter DL - Perfect fit as 34 end and adds pass rush ability 3.6 Coby Bryant CB - Can play outside or inside. Nice young core of Griffin, Campbell, and Bryant moving forward 4.1 Troy Andersen OLB/RB/TE - Personal favorite of mine. Moving up draft boards fast. The defensive version of Taysom Hill. Has played LB, RB, QB, TE, and ST. QB - Lawrence, Beathard, Rosen RB - Robinson, Etienne, Armstead/Ogunbowale, draft WR - Kirk/Godwin, Chark, Jones, Pickens, Shenault, Agnew, Treadwell? TE - Arnold, Howard, Farrell LT - Little, draft LG - Neal C - Linder? Shatley, draft RG - Bartch, Richardson RT - Taylor, Richardson DE - Brown, Gotsis DT - Hamilton, Costin DE - Robertson-Harris, Carter OLB - Riddick, Smoot, J.Smith MLB - Wilson, Quarterman WLB - Jack, Andersen, Moses OLB - Allen, Chaisson CB - Griffin, Bryant FS - Cisco, Wingard SS - Jenkins, Thomas CB - Campbell, Ford (NB), draft K - Wright P - Cooke LS - Matiscik

Only concern I have with him is that hamstring injuries. I would pass on Kirk unless your keeping him strictly in the slot.

Tugboat
It really does seem like trading down is the way to go, if they can swing it...But realistically, who is going to give up that Kings Ransom in this particular draft year? There's no Headline QB to take 1st Overall. I just don't see teams being interested in coughing up those assets to move up this year. So we're probably stuck picking 1st, which shouldn't be a bad thing...but...here we are. Finding unique ways to make the 1st overall pick kinda crappy. U do know that there's plenty of time from now till the draft for a guy to emerge. 5 qbs at the senior bowl should go by round 2.

Good point. No one had the 49rs trading up to take Lance at this point last year. Stranger things have happened.

Charles
Hire Leftwich as your HC. Keep Cullen at DC. Franchise Cam Robinson Resign DJ Trade for Calvin Ridley FA: OBJ Gisecki Scherff Draft Evan Neal, a center, best WR prospect in 3rd Offense all of a sudden Offense looks elite. Move Shenault to rb in training camp and see if he can make the roster as rb depth. Defense...whatever. this year is all about building a an elite offense. I'll deal with the defense next year.
