2022 where we finally are rebuilt draft thread

Hire Brian Daboll as Head Coach. If Miami fires Brian Flores, I’d reunite him with Daboll as the defensive coordinator. Next, poach Mike Kafka from KC and reunite him with Daboll as the offensive coordinator.

Throw the bag at Wyatt Teller and Chris Godwin in free agency.

34: R2 P2 C Tyler Linderbaum - Iowa

66: R3 P2 S Jalen Catalon - Arkansas

84: R3 P20 WR Wan'Dale Robinson - Kentucky

104: R4 P2 TE Trey McBride - Colorado State

144: R5 P2 RB Brian Robinson - Alabama

181: R6 P2 CB Riley Moss - Iowa

191: R6 P12 DL LaBryan Ray - Alabama

193: R6 P14 QB JT Daniels - Georgia

199: R6 P20 LB Zakoby McClain - Auburn

I would love this draft.   Not sure about Robinson in the 5th,  though he's probably just bpa at that point.

Obviously the Linder injury was a freak thing but I do wonder if/when we do look at a long term replacement. With Shatley as a backup I feel fine even when he does have to miss his few games he does every year but it’s interesting.

Linderbaum if he’s there in round 2…

I'd consider moving into late 1 if needed.  Gives u flexibility as well.

All our starting lineman are free agents between this year and next year(linder and Taylor)

We have the most cap space in the league and no one besides Chark to pay internally on the horizon with the OL unit being above average (and excellent in the run game) through 5 weeks.

We aren’t gutting a unit protecting Lawrence well.
