I believe hypertension just explains what way the knee moved. It is not an injury. You can hyperextend your knee and be completely fine.

I'm guessing that's not the case here though.   The amount of force & movement doesn't suggest a good outcome.  Grade 2 MCL would be a best case IMO.

Anything less and Giannis really is a freak.

He may be right in the end but I feel like that's just a clout attempt tweet. Dude covers the Clippers IIRC. Regardless, Giannis isn't coming back for this series.

These playoffs have been terrible, prayers up for Giannis.

He's out for a few weeks, at the very minimum IMO. The bright spot, if he indeed suffered a major injury, is that we have our 2022 1st Round Pick back from the PJ Tucker trade.

With Khris and Jrue you're still a playoff team.

Maybe, maybe not. I don't quite think people understand how much Giannis hides about this team.

EDIT - I believe we're something like 19-19 without Giannis since 2016-17. So, we'd be backend of the playoffs, at best, without him.

I hope Giannis gets a speedy recovery. Injury was ugly and he's a tough SOB. But that game was going down to the wire before his injury. I'm not saying it was a lock ATL won, but in a game that should have been a blow out, Giannis looked BAD in the 1H. He saved himself an entire newscycle of slander and potentially a career altering loss. Now, if it's an ACL, he faces a career altering injury. I wish him nothing, but the best.

ATL wins in 6. Bucks look dejected and just done.

Trae vs. Booker is the Finals I'm looking forward to.
