Griffin is like a mix of Jimmy Butler and Desmond Bane. Teams will look back and say damn we missed by passing on him, as a Duke fan I think he'll be better than Paolo long term.

Also, this. Sarver isn't going deep into the luxury tax for Ayton or the contracts he'd have to take back to make it work later.

If the Suns match they go into the luxury tax, can't trade him for 6 months, he has to approve where he goes, and the other team has to match salary.
