Because that's how you play it as town.  You just self voting right off the bat without even this much clarification just makes you look scummy.

honestly speaking the only reason i'm  hesitant to vote TL2 is because I really kinda want him to be town. I want his reads to be this legitimately terrible so that he can take it into account and grow as a player. If he were scum I'd be somewhat sad. Weirdest emotion Ive felt in a mafia game.

There are two options here: 1) you're town, my read was bad and you like killing town, or 2) you're not town and I was right.

the only town i've led a lynch on incorrectly is Matts who was a gd lurker we're probably better without anyway.

your bad read is entirely 100% on you. don't blame me for your inability to read the game objectively past your first read or theory.

You're either 1) town, and really bad at this, or 2) scum, and smart enough to know that other town are really bad at this.

And I'm not saying I'm good at this. I'm not. I haven't done it enough to fully understand the intricacies of the roles, certain subtle tells and other things. But, hey, if you're scum, and you can actually get town to think that me going after an inactive player D1 and Nacho and his shady behaviors ever since makes me suspicious... somehow... then, by all means.

Don't vote yourself and go that route

Its has been seen far too often. Usually it's a scum tell, but so many have done it over the last year or so that's its a null tell and just bad either way

If you are town and think you are getting close to being lynched you can always claim your character and if its really close your role and see if that is enough to ease the assault. Some times its not and you are going to be lynched incorrectly. In those instances keep fighting to find scum and convince town. Lynching yourself as town is really really really bad for town. You can also look at who is pushing you cause most times a scum is in on mislynches (not all the time though, especially early its a crapshoot) and see who is making a legit case and who isn't. The person that isnt is usually a town follower or scum imo. Things very though as I'm sure you have seen in a game in a half.

If you are scum...nothing is stopping you, have at it lol

Well one of the biggest take aways from that is nacho just looks even more like scum.  

TL pressed about the 2 guys who switched to nacho late and then switched to matts, nacho's response was a spun web if lies saying it never happened when it did. 

Then Nacho backtracks his statement that all ranch hands are town (despite a number of people suggesting most of the game that it is the most likely cover role for scum).  He now believes that could be the case but it can't be him or scoundrel.  

This make me belive scoundrel is a ranch hand while nacho is a dirty scum.  

Who needs to alter the actual reality of events that happened in the thread or their beliefs more than scum, dude is caught red handed

Oh man even more bad scum moves by nacho.  

Nacho flip flops for like the 10 time (yea that is an exaggeration for effect) to orca orca claims he bails quickly to et and then to me stating he thinks he knows who I claimed but still wants to lynch me, I mean come on.  

Also @bcb1213 I voted nacho shortly after night I believe but to make sure it counts nacho 

Diving into this TL thing now bc that seems interesting
