I have lost track of what has happened to forbes is he on IR put for the whole year?

To my knowledge, as he didn't make the initial 53, he's on IR the whole year.

Though it hasn't come out yet regarding how bad his knee injury is or if he's had or is having knee surgery, he and Greg Senat can't play for the Browns this year.

Yeah, a shame.

Prospect X. The real mvp.

I wonder if Berry or Callahan see him as a quality developmental player or if instead he's just a holdover from the Dorsey era.

Maybe the fact that he was listed 3rd behind Michael Dunn speaks to that.

Will be interesting to see if he ends up waived injured from IR eventually or not.

I wonder if Dorsey will come fishing for him, one thing not in his favor is that he is 24 now, people wont have much patience with him at that age imo. I thought he looked solid in his rookie pre season, he gotta lot of push in the running game but pretty average in this one, really bad in pass pro, and meh in the run.

Any good reason why the title of the thread couldn't be more easily deciphered?

Maybe something like: Stuff that happens during the regular season?

Clarity and concision have always been my strong suits.

But seriously though I didn't think Roster Tracker (i.e., a place to track the roster happenings) and Coach/Player Performance (i.e., a place to talk about coach and player performance) was unclear.

Maybe I'll change it to "Roster Tracker & Team Performance Talk," or better yet "Season Happenings Talk" for the old-timers.

Andrew Berry makes the OL Practice Squad signing I've been looking for ...

David Moore was named OLine MVP/TOP OL by his defensive peers and coaches at the Senior Bowl this year.

He absolutely destroyed guys in reps at Guard. Excelled with his reps at Center and though he struggled a bit in his reps at Tackle he still won his fair share.

His power, punch, and nasty are tremendous. He naturally plays with great bend and leverage.

Coming out of Grambling State he's a bit raw in technique and his foot speed and steps get sloppy. On the move with some pounds shed for a wide zone move scheme, he's just the type of developmental talent you want Bill Callahan to have the opportunity to coach up.

He's a Guard here with Center flex. And imo a much better prospect than Colby Gossett or Drew Forbes could ever be.

Tim Harris has elite tools, but has experienced a fair amount of injuries in the pros and even more in college as he got two medical redshirt senior years extending his college career 6 years total due to a litany of injuries. One would assume his body just can't take the bodily harm of football play, but if he can get past the injuries, he has all the talent, size, speed, and intangibles in the world.

Nice to see some OL reinforcements / developmental guys being added.

I'd think a kicker is coming soon. If McLaughlin poops the bed, it's probably better to have our choice now rather than pulling a guy off the street.

This.

Kicker, more OLs/more CBs for the remaining Practice Squad spots.
