Getting shut out by freaking Sam Darnold and Co. 🤦♂️ I know the Panthers have a good defense, but still, we were supposed to be a contender going into the year. Old Guy Posted September 19, 2021 Share Posted September 19, 2021 The Colts just scored a special teams TD because the protector on the punt team didn't get over far enough and the snap deflected off of him. Crazier part, after the ball hit him in the hand/arm, he took off downfield like he didn't even know the ball hit him or might be loose. Joe Barry doesn't help.. 3/4 of our secondary are sub 4.4 forty guys. Our defense is plenty fast enough, and talented enough. The Barry part is playing out and looking like he was a terrible hire after week 1. Fields and Mills see the field and struggling, but not as bad as Zac Wilson or T Law, apparently. Some serious growing pains for the young QBs this season.
