thrILL! Posted July 26, 2018 Share Posted July 26, 2018 I haven’t watched this since its original run. It’s been fun going thru it again and I forgot how much I loved Kate and Jack. This is a little bittersweet tho bcuz I feel like they really messed this show up later on and I’m seeing all the missed opportunities. But s1 remains fantastic. I gave Girls a chance because people said it was unique and funny but most shows about "struggles" and "perspective" I usually avoid cause their preachy without trying to make it clever. Each season they seem to write themselves into a hole and I'm just super curious about what terrible idea the writers will come up with to write themselves out of it.
