That and it’s valuable having an experienced voice in on what is almost entirely a rookie coaching staff. With offset $, any $ Fangio earns at another job - goes back to DEN, if it's less than what DEN paid him for 2022. Fangio has the 2022 DEN salary guaranteed, it only goes back to the club if he makes less on a new team. Same deal with player contracts - and why there are holdouts with 1st round draft pick players (since it's unlikely they get cut, but if they do, they don't want the revenue stream to go back to the team, but to them). As much as Fangio will be missed, Evero's work and his pedigree really are something to be optimistic on. Guy's learned under Kiffin, Capers (who is also around to help advise), Fangio, Wade Phillips & Raheem Morris (who called an amazing game today). No guarantees, but I'm excited.
