notthatbluestuff
Not that it's a high bar, but he has a higher pressure rate than anyone else on the Chiefs right now - they need the help. It'll also mean Jones can go back inside.

Ingram's nowhere close to his peak right now - he's selling out to get to the QB (and still not nearly as effective), and that's creating issues with lane control, and also hurts the run D. But honestly, the latter change is the biggest benefit to KC. Moving Jones to DE was a massive mistake IMO. Even if Ingram is just league average (and it's not clear he will be, if you factor in run stoppage), that's a big gain to have Jones inside. Low-cost move for KC. The fact PIT could only get the best offer from KC shows how far Ingram's stock has fallen. Maybe the scheme will fit him better. Definitely little risk from KC, just may not be a big move...except for getting Jones inside. That in itself is a winner move. The KC D needs a lot more to get to even "OK" levels, but this is a start, and low-cost one.

LETSGOBROWNIES
Pretty clear the Steelers aren’t too worried about Ingram potentially hurting them in the playoffs.

Not sure if KC is.
BobbyPhil1781
This is strange...... I guess KC is going to do what they can though.
MOSteelers56
He's got a little left in the tank. He was solid for us. Not great, but solid. He just thought he was better than he actually is.
Blackstar12
He’s cooked.

Jakuvious
We needed him far more than Pittsburgh. Makes perfect sense. He's not great, but he'll be better than what Okafor and Kaindoh have brought thus far, and a rotation of primarily Clark/Ingram/Danna let's us fully move Jones back to DT, and that's clearly the correct call, at this point.

Agree though, he isn't better than Highsmith so he should be limited in snap count
