Defense was spectacular.. Gave up 6 points.

GB had not put together a full 3 phase game all year.  It was /felt like a ticking time bomb all year.  Point differential is something that is a bit telling on how good a team is.

Somehow this D came to play despite the evidence of the entire season, but it was definitely a night for Defense all around.

Conditions and matchup against a really poor QB.

I mean let’s be real… Jordan Love could’ve done what Rodgers did in the 2nd half. That ain’t saying much but for the 2nd year in a row, Rodgers laid fat 3 and outs when it mattered.

Rodgers blew but we still should have won with that defensive performance.

Like, he was fine.  He obviously wasn't good.  But he didn't really miss many throws!

20/29 and the worst one was a sideline hole shot to Adams?  Or maybe the deep ball to adams 40+ yards down the field?

Pulling the ball out on the RPO -- only to not throw it, which resulted in an illegal man downfield was another bad play by him.

Sure, this would be fine if he was just some average Jimmy G type QB, but he’s supposed to be the MVP, and he has consistently put up unMVPlike games in the playoffs and here is another one.

He’s supposed to be some master of reading defenses, and instead he looked confused as hell out there.  He’s supposed to make ungodly throws, and instead he hit maybe one guy in stride all game. Davante had to make acrobatic catch after acrobatic catch for us to move the ball at all. It was bad.  Sure, STs hosed us too, but 12 (and some blame goes to MLF, too) put us in a position where one screw up on D or ST would cost us the game, and it did.

Just clean house from top to bottom and get it over with. How many losing seasons do people honestly think they will get before we get rid of them? 2 maybe 3? Next year when we win 5 games everyone will be calling for his head anyways. I'm just ahead of the curve.

You're an idiot. "How many losing seasons?"  We've had a record breaking 3 season run.
It's the playoff losses that are the bitter pill - but you dont "clean house from top to bottom" after our success.

Player moves will be mandated by the CAP.

hey now.....Love would have airmailed the pass to Davante on the sidelines, not dirt it 3 yards short

When MM went 6-10 with Rodgers at the helm were you calling for him to get fired then as well?

Packers now enter full rebuild mode. Love at QB, tons of players leaving in free agency.

MLF likely gets a mulligan for at least a couple of years.

Get used to seeing him on the Packers sideline for a long time yet.

Davante made 1 acrobatic catch (the shoelace one over the middle) and that was a throw on the run under pressure in the elements against the grain.

3-5 QBs in the league attempt that throw, and 2-3 of them complete it.  We have 1

Yep, Rodgers =/= Jimmy G tonight. The ST were epically bad, like all-time bad.  Personally, I rank this game worse than the Seattle loss.  Tired of these types off losses, would rather get steamrolled.

Come cheer for the Bears, you know what the result will be every year but you get to be excited about all the new ways you never thought you could fail!

Just saw this....

Thanks....but no thanks. I enjoy your misery too much from afar :)

Heard this crap for years with Mike Sherman and McCarthy. Who cares what we did in the regular season, our team consistently gets exposed in the playoffs. We've been full blown pretenders the last 3 years. Stuck between trying to please a diva QB while trying to keep one eye on the future. How many times do we have to see this story over and over again?

I mean that's insane.  Even if we didn't get the punt blocked, SF easily could have marched down and scored.

There was no fake FG, there was no onside kick, there was no cowardly 4th and goal from the 1/2 yard line field goals.  There were no squandered INTs or "get downs" by the defense.

It was a normal game of football which was competitive throughout.  There was never an 8 point lead.  This was just a competitive game where the biggest plays were on special teams.

The gap from Rodgers to Garappolo should be more than 10 points to 6

Take away the TD off the punt block.  GB scored 10 points, SF scored 6.

Andy Herman -   You have two options, score, or take 6 minutes off the clock. Either results in a trip to the NFC Championship game. Win the game right here.

Unfortunately, we did neither - which - to beat a dead horse - was exactly how last season's playoff exit played out.

The offense came up small.
