Down to Earth
Pro Football Talk has a couple articles indicating tomorrow up to 155 players will be boycotting the combine this year. If true will be interesting to see the names of those not planning to attend.
Scoundrel
Well that would suck. Hope it gives them some time to replace these guys with snubs who actually want the chance to go out there and make themselves money

jebrick
The report I heard is that they are attending but not doing any tests. And it is a threat, not set in stone. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/33341018/agents-threaten-boycott-nfl-scouting-combine-concerns-covid-19-bubble-sources-say Edited February 21, 2022 by jebrick

Also heard one change this year that upset some agents/players was that they plan to have them do weigh-ins, the bench press and on field drills same day. Figured it would hurt their on field performance if they were extra tired. Ironically, that change supposedly came about in an attempt to help players who didn’t want to be stuck in town so many days. Not sure how much that story bleeds into this supposed boycott.

onejayhawk
The big thing at the combine are the measurements and the interviews. That is not threatened. The stuff that looks good on TV is another story. J
THE DUKE
Agents always hate the combine for drills and testing because it takes their clients out of their comfort zones, and that's precisely why NFL teams like it. The most important thing is the uniform measurements, medical checks, and interviews, but that doesn't mean the on field drills aren't important. These players are going to new cities, living on their own for the first time, newly rich, and expected to be professionals. That is most definitely not their comfort zone.
