49ersfan Posted March 14, 2022 Share Posted March 14, 2022 (edited) I don't blame Luck for retiring, but the timing screwed the Colts over. Colts have just been snakebitten. Win too many games to even be in trading range for the top prospects. They haven't even really passed on anyone that turned out to be good in the draft. Deshaun Watson is available just happens to be in your division. Stafford was available but the Lions GM traded him to his former team. Both the Niners & Commanders felt like they never got to make a real offer, Colts probably feel that way too. 2020 was a disaster at the time but in hindsight will probably benefit us for years to come as it led us to be in a position to trade up for Lance.
