Cool so they traded the future of this team to suck for a year.  Great reasoning.  And if he is out for all of 22 you expect him to be a top QB after not playing for 2 years?

The idea that they don’t know what the suspension is going to be makes this trade so backwards of the way they have built this team.  Not to mention the contract they gave him which ties him to the team for many years.

Hope Truck Stop Jimmy gives them time to build this roster out.  Because if things go bad I think we are back to FO / HC carousel for years

Yeah, damn them for taking a chance at being an actual top end team.  So stupid

First of all they were already a top end team remember we already drafted 26th.

Mayfield was the only unsigned qb

Out of 26 to 32 unless of course

You count Brady.

The backfield consisted of sendejo

Stewart and Harrison plus no delpit

And no Johnson.

Deshaun has done nothing he is a 1 playoff qb that has a 500 winning

Percentage.

Plus Free agents have signed to play with Brady how many have signed to

Play with Deshaun answer zero

We don't have next year's 1st.  Or the following year.

Don’t worry he’s not getting suspended for an entire season. Unless he’s gambling on the side I guarantee he plays this season if healthy.

More FA will want to play with Watson than Mayfield

We gave up 3 1st round picks for a franchise QB, that is considered top 10 by almost everyone...sometimes you get lucky and only have to surrender your own, if you can find them in the draft....we haven't

Baker had 2 good years, and 2 bad years (1 of the bad years may have been due to injury)  It is still inconsistent, and wasn't worthy of a long term contract....by almost everyone's standards

Time will tell who won this trade....but I'm willing to bet that it will be in our favor

If you can't get over Watson's actions, I can absolutely understand that...but he is a far superior QB to Mayfield, no matter how you try to spin it
