Assuming that the quality of the coach provides a benefit, I'll get that benefit for 7 games (and the playoffs) and, most importantly, no other owner will have access to him. I'll have the same impact as other owners for those remaining 9 games, and I'll keep him for the same tag cost/value of where he's frequently drafted.
