Heat receive: Kevin Durant

Nets receive: Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro, D'Angelo Russell, Jared Vanderbilt, 2023 1st (Minn), 2025 1st pick swap (Minn)

Timberwolves receive: Ben Simmons

I personally wouldn't give up Bam and Herro for Durant. The last thing Minnesota needs is another ***** who shrinks in the playoffs.

Because he wants a team to pay 200% over market for Durant and somehow thinks that's fair and should be expected.

No. Bc with KD the Warriors KNOW they will be a lock to win the title the next 2-3 maybe 4 years in a row barring multiple major injuries like they suffered the last time KD was on the roster. Its called stacking the deck.

Yes the Warriors did win a title this past season with the team as constituted but one can make a case that if Brooks didnt get suspended and JA didnt get hurt the Grizzles couldve beaten the Warriors. The West is only going to get tougher and its going to be hard for the Warriors to repeat.

Plus we dont know what Kuminga or Wiseman is going to turn into. Yes they are young talented prospects with potential but as someone once said, potential can get you fired. And when it comes down to Wiggins and Poole, you are telling me they are untouchable if you can get arguably the best player in the NBA?

And again its not paying 200% over market. Every time a trade is being discussed fans overvalue the players involved. Fans also overvalue picks too. If this was Bradley Beal or even Kyrie we are talking about, sure I wouldnt feel like the Warriors should consider giving a package like this up. KD will change the landscape where ever he goes. The only reason why it didnt work in Brooklyn is bc he had Kyrie as his running mate. If he get far far away from Kyrie and team up with Steph, Klay, and Draymond with the Warriors then you can book the Warriors winning not 1 not 2 not 3 not 4 well you get my point. They are going to run off title after title after title unless multiple serious injuries happen in one season like they had when both KD and Klay went down. Thats just my opinion.

They should include Klay, possibly Draymond and Kerr as well tbh.

Now you are being sarcastic lol. Seriously though like the Warriors need to jump on trying to get KD and as long as they can keep their big three together with Steph, Klay, and Draymond then thats all they need to have with KD. Everyone else is expendable.

Point is, whom ever trade for KD is going to have to gut their team to some degree to get him. GM Marks aint handing KD over for some magic beans and a bag of chips. So if anyone thinks the Nets is just going to get a bunch of picks, one good player, and a bunch of meh and the team KD goes too is still going to be loaded bc they barely gave up anything yall going to be disappointed. Not saying the Nets are going to get anything close to the value of KD but the other team is going to give up more than you think unless they involve and 2nd and 3rd into the mix to help out.

Hmm. Interesting point. It's almost as if fans of the team trying to trade the superstar undervalues the players they want in the trade to act like it's not that big of a deal to lose everyone.

Great point. Didn't even think about that. Rockets are about to be really good in a few years.

Congrats y'all! @Texansfan713@Pastor Dillon

The nets are gonna end up with a ton of picks from the 76ers and potentially whoever they trade Durant and Irving to. So it’s potentially a great opportunity for both teams to do well.

but honestly I’d love to see Boston vs Houston in the finals with their cores being from the nets picks 😂

Ill just put it like this, its going to be interesting to see what the Nets get for KD. They dont have a fool as a GM in Marks. He will make sure he get the best possible deal he can get. This is as unprecedented in the NBA as in the NFL when the Texans traded away Watson and we know his off the field issues plus before those allegations even came out he already wanted out of Houston. So its funny how in the same year something that really never happens in football happened with a young top tier QB on the market gets traded and now in the NBA arguably the best player in the league still playing at an MVP level is on the market to get traded. Again its going to be interesting to see what the Nets get for him.

They're going to get a great package, but if you're expecting something like that Warriors package then you're going to be very disappointed.
